Marcus Hill became part of the Robert Gerrard team in 2021. With his unique blend of experience spanning both the insurance and lift industries, he was a natural fit for our dedicated Lift Plan® team, and has become a valued contact for our extensive lift sector client base.

Following 16 years in insurance, Marcus was lured away to work in the family lift business as a lift salesman, which led to a 15-year period within the industry, including six years as a lift consultant gaining priceless experience before being tempted back into insurance as a commercial underwriter. Five years later, recognising the invaluable mix of knowledge and skills he could bring courtesy of his LEIA qualifications and insurance background, we invited Marcus to join us here at Robert Gerrard.

Conscientious Marcus approaches his work with unwavering professionalism and integrity. He cites listening to his clients’ needs without making any prior assumptions as essential, and understands very well the importance of being accessible to clients whenever they need him, and in whatever way they prefer.

Away from work, Marcus is infamous as a karaoke king, although he says that whilst he finds taking to the mic relaxing, his audience may not necessarily share his enthusiasm. A keen football fan, Marcus is also a season ticket holder for his adopted home town team Leicester City FC.
