Carla Preston has worked for Robert Gerrard since 1987. She’s always been hands-on, although her duties have evolved since her filing days back then. She became director in 1997 and now works closely alongside fellow director Scott Townsend at the core of the family-run business, personally overseeing all cases.

Lift contractors’ combined insurance and the Robert Gerrard Lift Plan® are Carla’s areas of specialist expertise and she also takes care of clients looking to protect their liability with cover tailored to their specific needs. Dedicated to delivering what clients value: a good service, reliability and honesty, Carla makes sure she’s readily available whenever clients need advice or assistance.

Alongside a friend, Carla raised £30,000 to buy a colon cancer detecting machine for Broomfield hospital. She plays hockey, coaches a children’s hockey club and has a passion for gardening.
